What are the specifications and models of machine stretch film?
Compared to other stretch films, machine stretch films have stronger thickness, elongation, and ductility. Generally, they are only 10cm, 15cm, 20cm, 25cm, 50cm, etc. They are mainly determined by pallets or rewinding machine wheels, and the weight will be determined according to the installation size.
1. Thickness
The thickness of machine used stretch winding film is generally thicker, and the thickness of ordinary stretch film is less than 13 μ M-22 μ Between m, and the thickness of the machine used stretch film will reach 20 μ M-35 μ M.
2. Elongation rate
We have all heard that the stretching rate of stretch wound film is between 200% -600%. Due to the mechanical operation of the machine used stretch winding film, there are additional requirements for the stretching rate. Currently, the common requirement is 700%, which means that the stretch wrap film used in a one meter machine can stretch for 7 meters without breaking.
3. Ductility
Ductility refers to the lateral stretching rate. The raw material of the stretch film, polyethylene, is a linear particle with strong longitudinal stretching ability and weak transverse stretching ability, which obviously cannot meet the packaging requirements. Therefore, appropriate metallocene (other density polyethylene isomers) will be added to the raw material, which will increase the molecular weight per unit volume, thereby strengthening the lateral stretching force.
