How is aluminum foil made?
The manufacture of aluminum foil is similar to making pasta at home. A large piece of almost pure aluminum is rolled several times by giant steel rolls, reducing the thickness of the aluminum and spreading it out to make it longer. Lubricant is added during rolling to facilitate operation.
The thickness becomes thinner each time the roll passes continuously. Repeat the process until the foil thickness is reached, and then cut the large aluminum foil into the required width.
